- Set a password to restrict printing and copying

Step 1：Open the document in PDF Reader Pro.

Step 2：Tap Editor on the toolbar, choose Security and then choose Set Password.

Step 3：Ensure you set a password to open the document.

Step 4：Tick Restrict printing and copying of the document and set another password.

Step 5：Click Encrypt to finish your security setting.

 

 

- Create a flattened PDF

The term "flatten PDF" refers to the process of taking the multiple layers of a PDF file and removing any interactive elements to create a "flat PDF". This means that you can duplicate the same PDF, but the interactive elements such as notes in a flattened PDF can't be edited or moved. How to create a flattened PDF in PDF Reader Pro?

Step 1: Enter the reading page and tap File on the toolbar.

Step 2: Click Save as Flattened PDF.

Step 3: Choose an output folder, select Open, then hit Save to finish your set. 

- Convert your PDF files to image

This function is often overlooked by us. Converting the PDF files to images also can help you to prevent others from modifying your contents. How to convert our PDF files to images?

Step 1: Tap Converter on the toolbar.

Step 2: Select target formats: To Image, and set Page Range.

Step 3: Click Convert and choose an output folder to start PDF converting.

Step 4: Hit Batch to add more files to convert simultaneously.

 

 

Add the third lock to the PDF files: protect the originality of documents

After the article is approved, the writer has to publish his article on various platforms. Piracy happens everywhere in our life now. Therefore, the question is how to protect the originality of the article? PDF Reader Pro provides you with three options.

- Add watermarks to your files

PDF Reader Pro allows you to add watermarks to PDF files. You can change the opacity, color, and positions of the watermark. You also can customize watermarks with texts and images freely. Step 1: Tap Editor on the toolbar, choose Watermark and click Add Watermark.

Step 2: Set and customize text or image watermark. You can change the Opacity, Color, Rotation, and Location of the watermark.

Step 3: Tick Tile, then you can add tiled watermarks and customize Vertical distance or Horizontal distance.

Step 4: You can save the watermark as a template by ticking Add to Template.

Step 5: Tap Watermark and choose Manage Templates, then you can review your watermark history and easily manage them. 

 

 

- Create your signature on documents

PDF Reader Pro provides the best signing experience on the Windows platform. You can even create your signature by typing texts or importing images. The function is often used when you need to sign a document such as signing a contract. You add your signature to the files, this means that you have checked or you create this document. How to create your signature?

Step 1: Click Tools on the toolbar and then tap Signature.

Step 2: Select New Signature to add a new signature from Keyboard, Trackpad, or Image.

Step 3: Hit Save & Apply to save it, and put the signature where you want it.

 

 

- Add a special stamp to PDF files

In PDF Reader Pro, you can add special stamps to your PDF documents or create custom stamps with text and images. If you create an extraordinary stamp and add it to PDF documents, all documents with this stamp can prove to be your original works. Stamps are the beautiful and safe signs in your documents. How to use this function in PDF Reader Pro?

Step 1: Tap Stamp on the toolbar to add stamps.

Step 2: Select Standard, and you will get a bunch of ordinary stamps.

Step 3: Select Dynamic to create a dynamic stamp consisting of an author's name and a date.

Step 4: Select Custom to create a customized Image Stamp or Text Stamp.

Step 5: You also can right-click and choose Cut, Copy, Delete and Note stamp.
