How to Fix PDF Reader Pro Installation Issues on Mac

If you’re unable to install PDF Reader Pro on your Mac — for example, the installer won’t open, the system says it’s from an unidentified developer, or the setup stops unexpectedly — try the steps below.

 

1. Installing from the Mac App Store

✅  For a Smooth Installation

  • Open App Store → Search PDF Reader Pro → Click Get or Install

  • Make sure you’re signed in with your Apple ID

  • Verify your Wi-Fi connection is stable

  • Go to System SettingsGeneralSoftware Update to check for pending macOS updates

  • Leave enough storage space before installing

 

⚠️ If Installation Doesn’t Complete

  • Restart & Retry: Quit the App Store completely, restart your Mac, and try downloading again

  • Apple ID Issue: Sign out of the App Store, restart your Mac, and sign in again

  • App Store Cache Issue: In rare cases, sign out and clear cache using Cmd + Shift + R within the App Store window

  • Outdated System Components: Update both macOS and App Store to the latest version
